Glean Photos (忆光集) is a photo tool that runs on iPhone. This policy explains how we handle information related to the app. The promise: your photos belong to you.

What we do not collect

• No sign-in, so we do not collect name, email (unless you write to us), phone number, or an account.
• We do not upload your photos, thumbnails, face features, or photo location metadata to our servers.
• We do not use IDFA or cross-app tracking, and we do not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your photos or personal data with advertising networks.

What happens on device

After you grant Photos access, the app reads photos on this device for compress, enhance, stitch, collage, convert, finish prints, and organize (browse, find similar shots, and delete or keep only after you confirm). Results stay in the app sandbox or, if you ask, are saved back to—or deleted from—Photos. Deleting the app removes sandbox data; photos you already confirmed deleting from Photos are not restored by uninstalling.

Information that may leave the device

• Apple In-App Purchase receipts: purchases and restore are handled by StoreKit and Apple to unlock features. We never see your card number.
• Crash diagnostics: if you allow sharing with developers in iOS, Apple may send us anonymized crash logs so we can fix bugs.
• Messages you send by email, or via the Tencent questionnaire: used only to answer your request. The form is transmitted by Tencent Questionnaire (wj.qq.com) under its terms.

权限

Permissions

• Photos: pick, organize, compress, enhance, and save images; organize may delete photos from your library only after you confirm.
• Camera (optional): take a photo for on-device processing.
• Notifications (optional): requested only if you enable weekly cleanup reminders; used for local alerts.
• We do not request Location, Contacts, Microphone, or Tracking, and we do not use IDFA.

儿童

Children

The app is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In mainland China, that means under 14; elsewhere, local law applies. There is no account system, so we cannot determine a user’s age.

Your rights

Because photos and results live on device, you can deny Photos access, revoke it in Settings, or delete the app. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID; use Restore Purchases in the app.

Legal bases and regions

Where GDPR, CCPA, or China’s PIPL apply, we process only what is needed to provide the on-device features you request. Photos are not transferred to servers abroad because they are not uploaded.
